County Discontinued Use Definition

Teton County is considering an amendment to the Land Development Regulations (LDRs) to define and provide exemptions for discontinuance of a permitted use. The impetus for this amendment proposal is to avoid inadvertent expiration of permitted uses due to pauses in operation resulting from COVID-19 impacts, but the amendment draft includes exemptions for other unwillful circumstances that may render a use inoperable.
