How Can I Get Involved?

Getting the public involved in the plan update is crucial to make it a success—and a plan that the community and region will continue to follow. The community will have lots of ways to get involved including:

  • Check this plan website. It will always contain the latest information about schedules and events, draft work products, and downloadable maps and information.
  • Attend the Stakeholders Advisory Committee meetings, that will occur every 6 or 8 weeks for the next year. While these meetings are primarily intended to be focused work sessions for the committee, the public will have opportunities to speak.
  • Attend the Joint Board of County Commissioner and Town Council study sessions, regularly through the project.
  • Attend the Joint Planning Commission sessions, regularly through the project.
  • Attend community events and workshops. Three are anticipated: in September 2007, January 2008, and May 2008.
  • If you can not attend live meetings, view Meeting Summaries and send comments.
  • Join the Plan Blog
  • Sign up for email updates
  • Watch for articles and news reports in the Jackson Hole Daily newspaper.
  • Watch for posters and information at community events, like Old Bills’ Fun Run and the farmer’s market.
