The plan update will accomplish four main objectives:

1. Reconfirm/refine the 20-year vision for the valley that is realistic and achievable.
2. Bring directions and policies of the County and Town into alignment with each other and with those of other coordinating agencies.
3. Coordinate decision-making.
4. Provide a greater level of predictability to landowners, businesses, and residents.
