In summary the applicants are requesting an LDR text amendment to allow Bed & Breakfast uses to be allowed to have Accessory Residential Units (ARUs). The two proposed text amendment changes in the request are as follows:
To re-categorize Bed and Breakfast from a secondary use to a type of lodging primary use, therefore allowing B&Bs to have Accessory Residential Units (ARUs), and
To exempt ARUs that are accessory to a Bed and Breakfast from floor area ratio (FAR) limitations.

Public comment can be submitted to the project manager, Associate Long-Range Planner Erin Monroe, at Emonroe@tetoncountywy.gov. Comments received prior to August 4, 2023 will be included in the packet for the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.
At the August 14, 2023 Planning Commission hearing, the requested re-zone was recommended for denial. The item will be heard at the September 19, 2023 Board of County Commissioners hearing who will make a final determination on the request.
