In summary the applicants are requesting an LDR text amendment to allow Bed & Breakfast uses to be allowed to have Accessory Residential Units (ARUs). The two proposed text amendment changes in the request are as follows:
- To re-categorize Bed and Breakfast from a secondary use to a type of lodging primary use, therefore allowing B&Bs to have Accessory Residential Units (ARUs), and
- To exempt ARUs that are accessory to a Bed and Breakfast from floor area ratio (FAR) limitations.
