Part 1.  Welcome + Ground Rules (20 minutes)

• Welcome  & Opening Remarks from the Town Mayor and the County Commission Chairman
• Elected officials will review, refine and agree to ground rules for the Character District process

Part 2.  Character District Process (20 minutes)

• Elected officials will review, refine and agree to the general process and schedule outlined for the Character Districts

Part 3.  Character District Boundaries and Data Review (30 minutes)

• Staff will make a presentation illustrating the process staff used to develop the Common Value framework maps and define a preliminary set of Character Districts

Part 4.  Elected Official Review of Data and Character District Boundaries (60 minutes)

• Elected officials will review the framework maps, preliminary Character District maps and the defining characteristics of each area
• Elected officials will discuss any additional data needs and refinements to the Character District boundaries

• Staff will present the format for the Community Workshops and next steps in the Character District process
