Welcome to the Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan website
The Town of Jackson and Teton County are jointly updating their 1994 Comprehensive Plan—the long-range plan that guides policy, investment, program, and land use decisions for both entities. Because our community and region is changing over time, it is necessary to review and update our plan to make sure it reflects current conditions and community values.
This planning effort will lead to an update of Jackson/Teton County’s most current Comprehensive Plan—the 1994 Plan, to make sure it reflects the current needs and vision of Town and County residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. The plan update should provide meaningful policies and strategies to achieve the community’s vision.
The update began in July 2007 and is anticipated to be complete in Summer of 2009.
This site will provide information, updates, and announcements about the development and update of the plan and how you can get involved.
